How to write a Jewgo storefront that gets found
Say plainly what you do and where you do it, in the words a customer would search for, then back that up with a separate listing for each service and product, your hours, your service area and photos of your work. Your storefront is a public, crawlable page, and what you fill in is also published as structured data that search engines and answer engines read. Search visibility depends on many outside factors, so no one can promise you a ranking.

What search engines and answer engines read
Your storefront is an ordinary public web page, so anything written on it can be read and quoted. It also carries structured data (schema.org LocalBusiness) built from the sections it shows:
- Your business name and description
- Your address or service area, and your hours
- Each service and product, with its price when you give one
- Your logo, or your first photo
- Your reviews and rating
The structured data only describes what the page shows. Filling in a section is what puts it in both places.
Your storefront is built as a public, crawlable business page with structured information. Search visibility depends on many outside factors, so we do not promise rankings.
Lead with one sentence that answers the question
The short description under your name is the first thing a person reads and the line most likely to be quoted. Say what you do and where, in the words a customer would type. "Licensed plumber serving Miami Beach and Surfside: repairs, installations and emergency calls" says more than "Quality service since day one".
Your longer description appears in its own About section when it says something the short one does not. Use it for what a customer asks before hiring: what you specialize in, who you work with, how a job usually goes.
List each service and product on its own
Each service and product appears on your storefront as its own entry, with a title, a description and a price, which can be a fixed price, a range or no price at all. A customer searching for one specific job finds it by name, which a single line reading "all plumbing work" never matches.
How many you can list depends on your plan: Free includes one product and one service, Connect three products and three services, and Manage unlimited products and unlimited services.
Be exact about where you work
The directory is organized by city, and customers search for a place. Give your city accurately, and if you travel to customers, describe the area you cover.
What your storefront shows of your location depends on your business type. A physical storefront can show its address. A service-area business can show its service area. A hybrid business can show both where appropriate.
Show the work
Photos of your actual work tell a customer more than any description. Your storefront has a photo gallery on every plan, and from Connect a portfolio of past jobs, each with a title, a description, where it was and when it was finished.
Keep it current
You can change your storefront at any time. You can update your business information, services, products, photos, hours, FAQs, and other content later.
Out-of-date hours or a service you no longer offer cost you the customer who acted on them.
